At the young age of 15, Perri recently returned from the Canada-Wide science fair and earned a gold medal for her research investigating treatments for cancer. Through the time spent on her research project and vast experiences supporting children with special needs, Perri developed a passion for raising awareness for pediatric oncology. This prompted her to found “Cures for Kids” a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funding for the BC Children’s Hospital Childhood Cancer Research Endowment Fund.
